STICKERSCOUTS FAQ

What is Sticker Scouts?

Sticker Scouts is a free summer camp for sticker lovers, journalers, snail mailers, collectors, and creative people of all kinds. Throughout camp, you'll complete challenges, earn badges, meet fellow campers, and find lots of new ways to use the stickers you've been saving.

How long is camp?

Camp is five weeks long! There was one week of settling in and four active challenge weeks. You can start camp any time during the run and join in wherever you are!

I just registered for camp. What happens next?

Welcome to Sticker Scouts! After registering, you'll be able to download your Welcome Kit. Inside you'll find your Camper Trading Card, Cabin Pennant, and a few other camp goodies.

Your first mission is to decorate your Camper Trading Card and Cabin Pennant. Once you've completed them, you can collect your Cabin Badge.

After that, keep an eye on your inbox. Every Monday, we'll send a weekly camp email with that week's challenge, activities, bonus badges, important links, and camp updates.

How do I participate?

Find a bunkmate, complete badge challenges, join conversations, share your creations, participate in camp activities, and connect with other campers!

There are no grades, no attendance requirements, and no wrong way to camp.

How will camp updates be shared?

Camp communication happens in a few places:

  • Weekly emails every Monday
  • Sticker Scouts Camp HQ Instagram channel
  • Your cabin's Mixer Post on the Pipsticks Instagram feed
  • Occasional SMS messages (if you've signed up for the text club)

Where do I post my work?

You can share your creations on:

  • the Sticker Scouts Camp HQ
  • your instagram feed/ stories

Most camp activities will have a dedicated prompt where you can share your project, introduce yourself, answer a question, or connect with other campers. Tag your posts #pipsticksstickerscouts @lovepipsticks for a chance to win the weekly challenge prize.

What are prompts?

Prompts are conversation starters and sharing opportunities posted in the Camp HQ channel. Prompt posts stay open for 24 hours after they're posted, so be sure to jump in while they're active.

Don't worry if you miss one. There will always be another opportunity to participate!

Do I have to post my work to earn badges?

No. Sharing is encouraged because it helps build community, but you're welcome to participate privately if that's more comfortable for you.

Sticker Scouts is about making, connecting, and having fun, not checking boxes!

Do I need to complete every challenge?

Nope! Choose the activities that sound fun to you. Sticker Scouts is designed to be flexible. Participate as much or as little as you'd like.

How do I earn badges?

Each badge has its own checklist and requirements. Once you've completed the requirements, visit the badge page to download and collect your badge!

What are Bonus Badges?

Bonus Badges are optional extra challenges that pop up throughout camp. All bonus badge projects will be posted the LAST WEEK of camp! Complete them for additional bragging rights, extra fun, and prize opportunities.

Do I need a bunkmate?

Not at all. Bunkmates are completely optional. Some campers join with a friend, some find a bunkmate during camp, and many campers participate solo.

How do I find a bunkmate?

Visit your cabin's introduction post and introduce yourself (links above). If you see a camper with few or no replies, consider saying hello.

Remember: you don't need the perfect bunkmate. Camp is full of opportunities to meet people throughout the summer.

What if I don't have a bunkmate?

You're in good company. Many campers arrive without knowing anyone. Join activities, participate in discussions, and don't be afraid to introduce yourself. Some of the best camp friendships happen after camp begins.

What is a Cabin Raid?

A Cabin Raid is a friendly act of camp spirit. Go to a cabin mixer post that is NOT your cabin, find a camper comment and DM them leaving:

- "STICKERSCOUT CABIN RAID"
- A gif/ sticker meme/ cute animal photo
- signoff (ie xoxo Mo, Postmark Cabin)

If someone has raided your cabin, you should pay the favor forward!

Do I have to post my creations publicly?

No. You can share as much or as little as you're comfortable with. Some campers post every project. Others participate quietly behind the scenes!

What supplies do I need?

Whatever you already have! Stickerscouts also get 20% off at the Camp Canteen (AKA Pipsticks online shop) with the code SCOUT. This applies to subscriptions too!

What if I fall behind?

There is no behind! Camp isn't a race. Jump back in whenever you're ready and do whatever feels fun.
