Paper Source Planner Review... Keep it simple & organized

Ah, Paper Source! It's not a surprise that this Paper Source Planner is awesome. Their shops are my weakness and I literally want to buy EVERYTHING I see as soon as I walk in. Letterpressed cards lead to wrapping paper, wrapping paper leads to gift tags, gift tags lead to cardstock in every color, cardstock in every color lead to pens, which lead to cute pouches, mugs, pillows, bandaids (they were cute and calling my name as I checked out), and two bags worth of other stuff!! Paper source planner_1 Back to the planner...the gorgeous painterly design on this Paper Source Planner caught my eye and, to be honest, I'm content just to have it on my desk (because what I really need is another planner on my desk)! The overall design is beautiful, simple, and super fun. The hardback design and hidden spiral binder makes it easy to carry around. And let's just take another minute for that cover :)

Paper Source Planner Review

This Paper Source Planner is different from some of the other planners we've reviewed, in that it's not frilly. That said, if you're into cheap frills (couldn't resist) it leaves space to put your own mark on it. When you first open this Paper Source Planner, there's a cute turquoise catch-all pocket to keep notes, business cards, etc (and the color looks great with the gorgeous print on the outside). Next you've got a personal info page, in case you lose it lol. Next, it gives you a quick yearly view. This includes 2016 and 2017, followed by my favorite "Special Dates" section (I'm terrible at remembering bdays), and finishes up with 13 pages for notes. Paper Source Planner_2 Special Dates: First, you get a page field with months and blank spaces, so you can fill in an important dates (birthdays, anniversaries, etc) that you may need at a quick glance, without having to flip through your planner to that specific month. Next you get a page filled with the holidays for the year and a page with all sorts of super important information - you know: wedding anniversary gifts by year (1st year - paper, 5th year - wood, etc), birthstones, and Chinese New Year details!

Paper Source Planner: Monthly Breakdown

As I said, this planner has one monthly section in the front, which has all the monthly layouts from August 2016 – December 2017. Once you get into the monthly breakdown, you'll see that each section starts with a Goals For This Month page, that has plenty of space to jot down your goals and/or special projects for the month. Next, we have a two page overview of the entire month, with a notes section on the right hand side and a quick view of the dates for the next two months. Simple, clean, and straightforward. Paper Source Planner: Daily Breakdown

The daily breakdown has a ton of space to write out  notes, to-do's, and scheduling items for each individual day, as well as a quick calendar at the top of the page for the following three months. Again, I'm digging the simple, clean design of each section. Paper Source Planner_4

Paper Source Planner Wrap-up!

Overall, I really love this planner. It doesn't have the bells and whistles (quotes, stickers, pretty patterned paper) that I'm a total sucker for, but the simple design and classic font brings a calm simplicity to my day (which is totally appreciated right now). AND, I love that the simplicity of the design gives me freedom to doodle and sticker each page if I feel like it (because I usually feel like it)! Paper Source Planner_5 Think this might be the right planner for you? If you want a Paper Source Planner, you can find here, or here (where you can find a ton of other designs as well).
